I bought a metal shed in bits, lots an lots of bits. It’s taking me ages to put together, partly as I’m doing it in my own, partly bad weather and other priorities.

Such a simple idea, use the sink water instead of drinking water to flush the toilet. And save space.
This is a great idea but could look better.
This looks lovely but I don’t know how it’s plumbed in.

Brrr it was cold last night. The best time to check the house insulation.
The coldest part of this bedroom is the ceiling by the wall and then the wall. So trying out ceiling tiles (but only one row so not a fire hazard) and insulated 3mm polystyrene wallpaper.
You can feel the difference, I now have to put on a layer of wallpaper before painting.

On rainy days some water has been getting into the garage through the door. A previous attempt to stop this can be seen, some mortar in the edge but it didn’t work.
I have tried using mastic, some 2×2 and damp proof membrane. The Dpm was stapled to the wood, the mastic applied and then the wood held tight to the floor with some screws.
The timber wasn’t quite long enough so a few scraps with mastic should seal off the edges.
I hope it works.
